Q. Do most women have hair on their nipples and is it usually dark? What is your advice for removal? If you pluck hair will it grow back darker?

A. It is very common for women to have some hair around the nipple area. Plucking or shaving it should not cause it to become darker, nor will it prevent it from growing back. Permanent hair removal can be accomplished by electrolysis (electrical/heat destruction of the hair root) or laser treatment. I would suggest that you ask for references and training background of the one planning to treat you before agreeing to the procedure.
