I have been diagnosed with cyclothymic disorder. The information from the Internet makes no sense to me because it was compared to other disorders. I need a straight answer. I need symptoms and disability info, also is it hereditary?

Have any studies been done on women who have late-onset schizophrenia who have had a hysterectomy without hormone replacement therapy? I am asking because I know three women that have had a hysterectomy and absolutely no signs of schizophrenia until after the hysterectomy. I was also wondering if this relates to the role of sex hormones in triggering schizophrenia?
